littlekingkiser… papercert + time + work = real life experience cert. You are having tunnel vision. Likewise to a college degree. Some folks attend a four year college without working, so I guess in your view its a “paper” degree. However, IN TIME with EXPERIENCE it will benefit them in the end.
So if you understand the topic without even working yet, that is better for you. Remain positive and disciplined, and you will surely get that $80000;)

Advice from an MCSE engineer. The things that people have to realize that want to work as a systems engineer/ network engineer. There are two types of MCSE certs. The paper cert and real life experience cert.

I have my MCSE, but I also know what I am doing by the experience that I have gained. If you are after getting your MCSE or MCITP, You really cannot go wrong, I learned a great deal studding for each cert test and applying it to real life situations, but keep in mind that no one is going to pay you that $80,000 a year, if you don’t know what your doing.

I have also seen engineers destroy there career, by implying that they new something that they didn’t.
I think “digitalmasterx ” may be a little harsh, however. What he said holds a lot of truth, don’t take it as ridicule, but as constructive criticism if you truly want to be an one day a Senior MCSE Engineer.

boot camps are not reliable. You might pass the exam but the whole point is to get experience and learn practiacally the stuff. If your goal is to just pass the exam and take “the all mighty certification” then i have no words left,just grow up.
